Throwing wheels move horizontally in two-line drill without feeding any balls

Search Help Articles

In two-line drill mode, the throwing wheels should move to the opposite side only after shooting a ball.

If you find that the throwing wheels are moving to the opposite side despite not shooting a ball, it is likely that the ball detection sensitivity setting is incorrect or one of your throwing wheel motors is faulty.

To adjust the ball detection sensitivity settings, start the machine by simultaneously holding down the Power button and the Left and Right buttons. In the new menu, adjust the sensitivity to a lower number. The default setting is 4. This feature is only available with software version 4.1.1 or later.

If this doesn’t solve the problem, it is likely one of the throwing wheel motors is faulty.

The throwing wheel motors are able to communicate to the motherboard when a ball has been shot, and a faulty motor might be sending the incorrect information.

For assistance in replacing a faulty throwing wheel motor or upgrading your software, please contact your local Spinfire distributor.
