When using an AC adaptor, your machine should receive a steady, uninterrupted power supply. However, in some cases, the machine may indicate low power and shut down unexpectedly.
Adjusting the Battery Profile
One common cause of this issue is the battery profile setting. Your machine may be configured for a lithium battery, which shuts down when voltage drops to 11.5V. If you switch the profile to an SLA battery, the cutoff voltage changes to 10.8V.
Even though you’re using an AC adaptor, these cutoff values still apply. Changing the battery profile to SLA can often resolve the problem.
- For V2 USB machines: You can check and adjust the battery profile in the app settings.
- For both V2 and V2 USB machines: You can also change the battery type directly on the machine by following this guide, ensuring you set it to SLA.
Checking for Hardware Issues
If the issue persists, the problem could be a faulty master switch or AC Adaptor. In this case, please contact your local distributor for assistance.
