- Remove the carousel from the machine by simply lifting it upwards.
- Stand the machine body vertically upright so you are able to see the feeder motor and curtain attached inside. They are located underneath the carousel area.
- Locate the curtain that needs to be removed first in order to remove the motor. It is a large black/grey fin shaped plastic component attached to the carousel area base.
- Remove the outer four screws holding the curtain from the base of the area where the carousel sits.
- Once the screws are off, you will be able to remove the curtain from the inside of the machine.
- Remove the remaining four screws from the same area to remove the motor.
Note: The screws for the curtain and motor are different so you might have to keep them separately for proper re-installation. - Place the new motor in position and put the screws back.
- Place the curtain back and put in the respective screws for it. Avoid over-tightening these screws.
- Place the carousel back by locating the flat section in the carousel hole and aligning it with the flat section on the silver motor shaft on which the carousel sits.
