How to replace the throwing wheels

This article relates to both v1 and v2 machines.

To replace the throwing wheels, you need to start by removing the throwing wheel.

Step 1: Removing the throwing wheel

  1. To remove your top throwing wheel, you would need a 3mm hex key.
  2. Gently, raise the elevation of the wheels and push it to the left.
  3. Locate the grub screw hole on the wheel and turn it anti-clockwise by using the hex key to loosen it.
  4. You can now slide the throwing wheel off the axle.
  5. Ensuring the elevation of the wheels is high enough, similarly remove the bottom throwing wheel.

Step 2: Installing the throwing wheel

  1. To install your top throwing wheel, first start by locating the flat section of the axle. This where you will tighten the grub screw into.
  2. Then locate the hole in the wheel for the grub screw.
  3. Install the wheel onto the axle and turn the grub screw clockwise to tighten it by using the 3mm hex key.
  4. Ensure there is a gap of approximately 1-2mm between the wheel and the motor housing. Continue to tighten the grub screw until the wheel is firmly fixed to the axle.
  5. Ensuring the elevation of the wheels is high enough, similarly install the bottom throwing wheel.
