As a safety feature, your Spinfire ball machine will shut off the feeder motor after 25 seconds (can be up to 45 seconds) if it has not detected a ball being fired. This can help avoid a situation where a ball falls into the carousel and fires out of the machine when a unsuspecting person is standing infront of the machine assuming it is empty.
Sometimes this safety feature can cause confusion. If you would like to turn it off, simply turn off your machine, then turn it back on again holding the POWER and DOWN button simultaneously for 5 seconds. You will see the following menu:
Press the UP direction button once so the menu says Safety mode off like below:
Now press the MENU button once to save the setting. The machine will then restart and will be ready to be used. Since the safety mode is now off, your machine will solely depend on your command via the control panel or the remote for deactivation of the feeder.
Please note, if your machine is pausing earlier than 25 seconds, it is more likely that your machine’s sensitivity is set too high and it is falsely detecting ball fires. If your machine is rapidly firing balls regardless of what interval settings are being used, it is more likely that your machine’s sensitivity is set too low and it is not detecting ball fires.
